Where is Lagoon Resort located?

The Fiji Islands archipelago consists of over 800 islands and islets located in the South Pacific Ocean, two thirds of the way from Hawaii to New Zealand. The Fiji Islands are the home to about 900,000 people of two primary ethnic groups - native Fijians and Indians brought to Fiji by the British to farm sugar cane at the turn of the 20th century. There are small numbers of mixed European and Asian ethnic groups as well.

The official language is English - although you will often hear native Fijian and Hindi widely spoken. Fiji's main international airport is located in Nadi (pronounced Nan-dee) on the main island of Viti Levu. There is also Nausori, a smaller international airport located to the north of the capital, Suva. The official currency is the Fijian Dollar (FJ$), and all banks, hotels and many tourist operations will exchange or accept major foreign currency.

The Lagoon Resort is situated in Pacific Harbour at the end of the Coral Coast, a two and a half hour bus or taxi ride from Nadi International Airport and a one hour bus or taxi ride from Nausori International Airport. Just off the coast of Pacific Harbour is the magical Beqa Lagoon (pronounced Benga) - home to some of the world's best diving and fishing, and home of the legendary Beqa Fire Walkers.

Rental cars are available from the airports and they can be delivered to the hotel. Transfers in air-conditioned vehicles can be arranged to meet you off your flight.  Just make contact with us and let us know the details of your flight, how many people will require transfers and any special luggage or transfer requirements you may have and we will arrange everything.
